With the Olympics in the near distance there is a growing discussion about who will be brought in and who will be left out of Team Russia’s roster.

Russia is a team loaded with well rounded, yet aging veterans, and plenty of talented young guns. This is a strong team, however we think it lacks the depth to successfully contend against the other gold competitors.

Using a blend of high scoring KHL skaters as well as the best and brightest Russians in the NHL, we here at the Good Hockey Podcast have put on our Шляпы генерального директора (General Manager hats) and created a roster that we think gives Russia the best chance to win olympic Gold.
